The first Virtual Career Fair in the Baltics ended successfully


The first Virtual Career Fair in the Baltics (www.BalticCareerDays.com) ended April 27th and attracted more than 80 000 visitors during a week. Almost 60 companies operating in 23 different industries from Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania were present in the fair with their virtual stands.

Each visitor had an opportunity to learn about companies work environment, organisational culture, employees success stories, view photo and video galleries as well as apply to actual job ads. There were more than 430 job vacancies advertised as well as nearly 380 chats took place between employers and visitors.

Several well known companies participated in the Virtual Career Fair: Tieto, Møller Auto, Factset, L’OREAL Baltic, SIXT, Ramirent, Transcom, Runway, Hurtigruten, Omniva, Evolution Gaming, Rimi, EVRY, Coca-Cola HBC Baltics, SEB bank, ATEA Global Services, Statoil / Circle K Eesti, Swedbank, G4S Eesti, Latvenergo, Eesti Energia, Solvay Group, Citadele, Danske Bank, ABB, Tarento Latvia, Olympic Casino, DNB bank, Nordea, Stockmann and many others.

According to a survey carried out after the event more than two-thirds of the visitors evaluate the Virtual Career Fair positive or rather positive. Features visitors used the most were applying to jobs, viewing photo and video galleries and advices by the employers. Almost 60% of visitors would like to visit the fair again in the future.
