Alma Career Latvia, which represents brands such as cv.lv, CV-Online Recruitment, and visidarbi.lv, is the leading provider of job advertisement portals, selection, and candidate recruitment services in Latvia. During more than 20 years of operation Alma Career (before CV-Online) has become a stable market leader in the Baltic states not only by the sales turnover, but also as the forerunner of innovation in its segment. It has been achieved based on its well elaborated technology and strong marketing activities in combination with the service minded organisation culture.
The job advertisment portal CV.lv began operations in Latvia.
CV.lv is the first job advertisement portal in the Baltics, which was established in Estonia in 1996.
The company CV-Online Latvia is registered in Latvia
Upon registration of the company, the first office in Latvia is opened. In the subsequent two years, the number of employees reaches ten. This number doubles in the following years, and by 2023, it reaches almost 40.
CV-Online becomes a part of the Alma Media Group
The CV-Online business in the Baltics is acquired by one of the leading Finnish media conglomerates, Alma Media.
The company acquired the job advertisement portal visidarbi.lv.
Visidarbi.lv is the leading job advertisement aggregator in Latvia. Here, you can find job offers from the most popular job and career portals, advertising platforms, and websites of the largest companies.
The CV-Online Recruitment brand was created
Over the following years, CV-Online Recruitment becomes one of the leading personnel selection companies in Latvia, specializing in personnel selection and candidate evaluation. The brand's website is launched in 2019.
CV-Online Latvia changed its legal name to Alma Career Latvia.
