After a two-year break caused by coronavirus, last week MojPosao once again hosted a famous and well-known business Brunch. On the rooftop of the tallest building in Zagreb, we gathered 100 guests from all parts of the business sector. In that joyful company, we discuss burning issues in the business world. This time the topic was employer brand - the image of a company that lives and breathes in the minds and hearts of former, current, and future employees.
In today's increasingly competitive job market, a positive employer brand is critical. Without one, hiring and retaining the best employees becomes challenging — and costly.
Panel discussion
How to find and attract talents, form a leadership - bound workers who will drive your business forward, and create a good and sustainable work environment - are just some of the questions that we try to answer in the panel discussion. Alongside our business partners Dunja Firšt from Kaufland, Anamarija Minarski from Hrvatski Telecom, and Vesna Mesar from Pliva our Alen Mrvac successfully find out some answers.
Our partners, also share their best practices and experience. For example, Hrvatski Telecom boasted of programs such as "Career shift" or "FrontlineFirst" that enable their employees to expand their careers or find completely new ones in the company. On the other hand, Pliva always encourages its management to learn how to be better leaders, and how to work together. As for Kaufland, they decided to invest more in the selection program and new employees.
Employer of the first choice
At our Brunch we presented the list of most desirable employers in Croatia. For the thirteenth year in a row, the most desirable employer in Croatia was dm-drogerie markt with 19,08 %. Second place was taken by Lidl with 5,57 % and for the first time in the top 3, we had a creation company Rimac Automobili. The research was conducted on a sample of 24.000 respondents in the period from 2021 and 2022.
The response from clients to Brunch was excellent. Everyone was excited and happy to finally see each other and to be able to talk about the state of the job market.
Afterwards we received a lot of positive reactions and thanks for a great Brunch.
