World Bank project in Bosnia and Herzegovina

This project named "Support to unemployed persons through the services of private employment agencies" is aimed to help low-skilled or inactive women has been financed by the Swedish Embassy, implemented by Alma Career's local Kolektiv with the support of the World Bank from July 2020 until April 2024.

The goal of the project is to support specific groups of hard-to-employ job seekers in finding (formal) work in the private sector through a package of individualized and market-oriented employment mediation services. All project services are free for all users. The project's services provide everything necessary for users to adequately prepare and develop and/or improve their skills and knowledge in order to be more competitive on the labor market. Thus, as part of the activities after the interview and profiling of the unemployed person, and the development of an individual employment plan and career plan, users receive information about job opportunities, individual counseling, training and education about job search processes, and the ultimate goal is to connect with employers.

In the previous period, counseling services have been provided to over 3,300 project beneficiaries, of whom over 1,500 have been employed in cooperation with over 140 employers.
