The UX Research Academy (UXRA), originally created for Alma Career employees, is now available to everyone worldwide – completely free. This interactive guide to UX research helps you design products and services that truly meet real human needs.
UX Research Academy (UXRA) is an interactive online guide that helps you navigate the world of user experience research – that is, how to better understand users and design products or services that truly meet their needs. Whether you’re a beginner researcher, designer, developer, product manager, or simply interested in UX, the academy walks you through research fundamentals in a clear, practical, step-by-step way. Experienced researchers will also find value in deepening their knowledge and gaining new inspiration.
All content is neatly organized in Notion, where you’ll find articles, videos, templates, and exercises from a variety of experts. The materials were carefully compiled by Ivana Kolcunová, Senior UX Researcher at Alma Career. What was originally designed solely for internal employees to help them understand customer needs is now available to the public worldwide.
This makes it possible to learn at your own pace, from a single location, without spending hours searching for high-quality resources. All content is in English, making it accessible globally to anyone interested in designing services and products based on real user needs. Why did we decide to make UX Research Academy public?
“UXRA is the result of a lot of work and experience, and it would be a shame to keep it to ourselves. I realized it could benefit a much wider audience than just our colleagues inside the company. UX research as a field is still in a phase of proving its value. If the academy helps more people integrate user research into the creation of services and products, it will have fulfilled its purpose,” explains Ivana Kolcunová.
